Appearing on the cover of Essence‘s April issue, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tia Mowry-Hardict, look happier than ever while opening up about motherhood.
“I feel sexier now, as a mother, than I ever have in my life,” Mowry-Hardict, mom to 20-month-old son Cree Taylor, says. “I’m more in tune with my body. I don’t take any crap anymore either.”
Tia who is mom to 3-month-old Aden John Tanner tells that she always knew she would become a mom.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mother. I’m a nurturer, a girly girl,” Mowry-Housley says. “I know my priorities: God, family and work … When those things are in check, the work will flow.”
In their reality show, Tia & Tamera, the pair insist they are showing their true selves.
“We didn’t want to do a reality show if we couldn’t be real — if I couldn’t be myself,” Mowry-Hardict explains. “There is no ‘evil twin syndrome,’ though we do have evil moments.”
