Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise were pictured heading to a playdate on a snowy day in New York City on Friday (March 8).
The 6-year-old was not in the mood to be photographed and demanded that her famous mom carry her. Despite some struggle, Katie managed to carry Suri while their bodyguards kept the photographers at bay.
It was recently reported that Katie and her ex-husband Tom Cruise hired a body double for Suri. Apparently, Cruise is worried about someone trying kidnap the youngster and has stepped up security in recent months.
“Tom wants the names of all the parents of the kids Suri plays with,” said a source close to Holmes. “He has to approve them before Suri can go to their houses or apartments alone. He has them investigated and he keeps a file on everyone. He is very cautious when it comes to her.”
Holmes rep denied the story and called it ‘ridiculous’.
