From power couple parents to leading lady moms the stars stunned on the red carpet of the 85th Oscar Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Sunday (Feb. 24). Here is a list of our choice for best dressed.
Jennifer Garner left her three children – Violet, Seraphina and Samuel home to walk the red carpet while supporting husband Ben Affleck who’s movie Argo was nominated (and won) for best picture. Her custom Gucci gown paired with Neil Lane jewels and a Roger Vivier clutch was definitely one of the best gowns of the night. Affleck didn’t look to shabby either in a Gucci tuxedo.
Reese Witherspoon stunned in a blue Louis Vuitton dress that was picked out by her daughter Ava.
“I love the color of it. My daughter and I picked it out. She said, this is a winner. She’s 13, so she definitely weighs in. She helps me pick the jewelry, makeup and everything,” the mom said on the red carpet about her dress.
She also credited her amazing hair to just giving birth to 5-month-old son Tennessee.
Naomi Watts who was nominate for Best Actress in The Impossible, wore a shimmery Armani Prive dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Roger Vivier bag, and Neil Lane jewels. Her longtime partner, Liev Schreiber also looked stunning in a tuxedo.
“Thank you so much. Thank you. This is amazing. I’d just like to thank Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson at Eon Productions. Sony Pictures, MGM, Paul Epworth, who, oh God, for believing in me all the time, and my man, I love you, baby,” the singer told during her acceptance speech.
