Theron was meant for adoption!
The Prometheus actress graces the cover of new Italian Max Magazine October 2012 cover while opening up about her love of motherhood.
Theron who adopted baby son Jackson earlier in the year admits she always wanted to be a mother.
“I always wanted to have children. Recently my mother found a letter I wrote when I was 8 years old, where I asked her to take me to the orphanage because I wanted to adopt a little brother. So it’s not been a decision taken lightly. When I hold my baby in my arms I forget every problem. I love it, it makes me gentle and serene,” she tells.
The South African native claims when she is not in the spotlight she is just like any other person.
“When I get home, I put on my sweatpants and feed my dogs. Back to being normal, I do what everyone does.”
This is not the first time Theron has opened up about her adoption of Jackson which took two years.
“I love it! I’ve got to tell you, I’m available for other babies’ diapers to be changed. I can do it in my sleep now. I am so good,” she told The Today Show days after adopting.
