Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi introduces her first son with Jionni LaValle, Lorenzo Dominic to the world on this week’s issue of People Magazine. The photos were taken a scant six day after her son was born at Snooki’s house in New Jersey.
Snooki’s baby boy was born early Sunday morning, (26.08.12) in New Jersey at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and weighed a healthy 6 lb. and 5 oz. Little Lorenzo Dominic LaValle is Snooki’s first child and the first for Jionni LaValle as well.
People scored the exclusive photos and an exclusive interview with the new Mom. In the interview Snooki explains how Lorenzo, her little meatball came by his name. “It’s a different kind of love that I never felt before,” says Polizzi, 24, who is currently filming the second season of her MTV spin-off Snooki & JWOWW. It took more than 24 hours of labor, but the pint-sized reality star finally gave birth to her son on Aug. 26. Happily, she and LaValle say that choosing a moniker was much easier.
“We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo,” says LaValle, 25, who adds that he was inspired by a child he knew from his hometown, where he and Polizzi now live with his parents. “She loved it.” The baby’s middle name, Dominic, is in memory of Polizzi’s uncle, who died. “I did it for my dad,” she says.
The happy couple are having a good time at home enjoying there new son. To see all the exclusive photos, pick up this week’s issue of People Magazine!
