David & Victoria Beckham Humbled By The Parents Of Paralympic Athletes

Soccer star David Beckham and wife Victoria are humbled by the parents of Paralympic athletes.

Beckham admits he is awe of the competitors’ proud families.

‘As parents blessed with 4 healthy children, Victoria and I are humbled by the strength and energy of mums and dads who encourage their disabled children to take up sports,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.

‘It can involve real hardship and sacrifice – but there is no greater life lesson that you can give to your children than to “be the very best you can”.’

The Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony takes place tonight in London.
