Actress Reese Witherspoon Spied Buying Maternity Clothes

Reese Witherspoon is still staying mom on becoming a Mom again – but a recent shopping spree seems to all but confirm the Oscar winner is expecting child number three. Some retail therapy on the weekend may have let the cat out of the bag.

The 36 year old star of Legally Blonde was spotted at the Paige Denim boutique in Brentwood, California on Saturday. Her visit has raised eyebrows because she forked out nearly $600 for three pairs of maternity jeans. An observer has told US Weekly Reese and her 12 year old daughter Ava Phillippe ‘were both really sweet and polite‘ but they didn’t tell anyone a baby was on the way.

So what did the actress buy? A pair of capri pants, skinny jeans and white jeans – but all with elastic panels. No doubt we’ll soon see the Mom of two in these new clothes because her baby bump is getting bigger.

There’s been no official announcement from Reese and husband of one year Jim Toth about their new addition. The boy or girl will be a younger sibling to Ava and eight year old Deacon Phillippe. Their father is Reese’s first husband Ryan Phillippe. A source close to the blonde star says she talked to her kids about having another baby before getting pregnant ‘Right after the wedding, Reese expressed a desire to have a baby with Jim. All along, Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family. Especially [because] Ava is at a sensitive age, Reese always makes sure to consult with her. She is very respectful of Ava’s feelings‘.
