Maria Shriver and Arnold Shwarzenegger Separate

Maria Shriver and Arnold Shwarzenegger have been married for 25 years. The couple has now announced that they will be parting ways. The former governor and news show anchor both have reached an agreement, and it doesn’t look as if this one will be followed up by an endless amount of court appearances and child custody battles (we are looking at you, Halle).

The couple shared in a joint statement:  “This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us. After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion, and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart, while we work on the future of our relationship. We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives.

”

Sounds pretty drama free. The couple has four kids together: Christopher, 14, Patrick, 18, Christina, 20, and Katherine, 21. Some of their kids have started their own careers in writing and entrepreneurship.
