Minnie Driver Celebrates Son Henry Driver’s Birthday At The Beach

Web Therapy actress Minnie Driver and her son Henry Driver enjoyed a day at the beach with Kathleen Robertson and her son William Cowles in Malibu over the weekend. It wasn’t just any ordinary day for Henry though. Minnie’s son celebrated his fourth birthday among balloons and friends.

Henry’s father, producer Timothy Jonathan Lea, was not present at the little party. It was just earlier this year that Minnie revealed his identity. The Daily Mail reports that Minnie is coping well with single motherhood and is now dating 31-year-old model, Matthew Felkner. “I had good friends around me, so it was sort of hilarious. Henry’s dad and I probably wouldn’t have any more together, but I would love to have more. But I couldn’t do another one without a partner; I couldn’t do two as a single mum, I really couldn’t. It would be too much.”

Maybe she won’t have to! But she’s doing a great job. Henry obviously had a blast on his big day!

Revealed: The Father of Minnie Driver's Son Henry!

After keeping mum for three years Minnie Driver, 42, has decided to come clean and reveal who the father is of her three-year-old son Henry. Her son’s father was a writer on the cancelled FX TV series The Riches.

She said: “We weren’t together, and he wasn’t directly in the business, so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity.” Then she added, “I don’t need to protect him anymore. He can fend for himself. He’s a grown-up.”

Minnie went on to reveal why she had not revealed his name sooner: “I was making a film at the time, and the paparazzi would shout, ‘Who’s the sperm donor?’ at me. He’s not famous. There’s no big story.”

She still has not revealed the daddy’s name but has said he is not hugely involved in Henry’s life but it is getting better. She also said she could not be a single mother again it is too difficult. If there is a next time round she needs a partner.

Minnie Driver Reveals Who Fathered Her Son Henry

Minnie Driver has kept mum about the identity of her three-year-old son Henry’s father till now.

In a recent interview with The Observer magazine she revealed he was a writer on her former TV show The Riches.

“I don’t need to protect him any more. He can fend for himself. He’s a grown-up,” she told.

“We weren’t together and he wasn’t directly in the business so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity. He’s not famous. There’s no big story.”

Driver is happy that the father of her child is now trying to step up and be a better father as of recent.

She added: “Is he a good dad? Sort of. He’s figuring it out… I mean, he hasn’t been that involved, his choice. But he is now.”

Minnie Driver was seen enjoying a fun day in Malibu with her son, Henry. They hit a toy story and picked up a gift for Henry! After, they went to a local park with a friend. Driver pushed Henry in a swing and watched him climb on a structure.

Minnie is a single mother and has never revealed the name of Henry’s father. She has said, “‘He’s English and in the same sort of business, and he lives in California. Everybody is cool with the situation.”
