Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon To Unveil Twins On 20/20

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will unveil their twin children Moroccan and Monroe almost six months after their birth to Barbara Walters on ABC’s 20/20. Walters’ sat down with Carey, Cannon plus son Moroccan and daughter Monroe in the family’s NYC pad.

Carey announced the news on her website: “Mariah and Nick recently sat down with Barbara Walters in their New York apartment to discuss Mariah’s pregnancy, their marriage, their beautiful baby twins Monroe and Moroccan and much more.”

Mariah Carey Focused On Losing The Baby Weight

Mariah Carey’s husband Nick Cannon claims she is working hard to get her pre-baby body back. Carey gave birth to twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe 4 months ago.

“She’s so focused right now on every aspect. She’s going to come back and knock out the world,” he told Wednesday at the America’s Got Talent finale in L.A. “She’s getting in shape.”

Cannon says wife Carey worked hard to get her post-baby where she wants it to be. “At two months she was walking around in a bathing suit,” he said. “Every day she’s just killing it. I personally think she’s going to come out looking better — looking like it’s 1990! I think that’s what she’s aiming for, and I think she’ll reach that goal.”

Mariah Carey’s Twins Are Becoming Diva’s

According to a source, Mariah Carey is turning her children into mini diva’s. She can’t stop buying them expensive shoes and jewelry.

“They must have something like 50 pairs of shoes between them even though they obviously can’t walk yet,” says a source close to Mariah and her husband Nick Canadon

“Mariah can’t go into a shoe store with buying a dozen pairs and she’s pretty much the same in baby boutiques. She just can’t resist those tiny little shoes.”

Sources also say Cary has splurged on thousands of dollars worth of diamond jewelry for her son and daughter.

“Mariah bought diamond earrings for her daughter, and she’s hoping to have her ears pierced soon,” said an insider. “Plus, both kids have diamond encrusted diaper pins.

“She bought each twin loose diamonds that she put in a vault, to give them when they can appreciate it.

Mariah Carey has been working hard to get the baby weight off and it looks like all the hard work has payed off! Carey tweeted this new photo of herself with her five Jack Russel dogs via twitter on Saturday. She titled the picture “Joggin Puppystyle!” In the picture, Carey looks much slimmer since giving birth to twins on April 30, 2011.

Mariah Carey Admits She Found Pregnancy Difficult

Mariah Carey, 41, and husband Nick Cannon welcomed twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe into the world on April 30, 2011. Mariah has admitted that er pregnancy was a “difficult time.”

She said: “February was bleak for me. I was so uncomfortable. Being pregnant with twins is different than anything. They were always saying to me, ‘Oh but it’s so worth it,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s easy for you to say when you’re not the one whose feet are so big.’ It turned into a really difficult time.

Because my body went through so much holding those twins in; you have to keep them in as long as possible because it’s a sacrifice that you make for them, and so literally I was like 47 weeks pregnant.”

Mariah made the comments when she was on HSN to promote her jewellery line and advised fathers to buy their wife’s presents to thank them for carrying their children.

Mariah Carey Doesn’t Want More Children

Mariah Carey doesn’t want more children. According to husband Nick Cannon, Carey has threatened to “kill” him if he makes her give birth again.

“I want some (more), but I think my wife’s done,” said Nick. “I tried to say, ‘Yo, let’s go for another round!’ and she’s like, ‘I’ll kill you!’”

Cannon also spoke of his twins budding personalities. His son is adopting a “tough” character and his daughter is already showing “diva” tendencies.

“My son Roc lives up to his name. He’s a tough guy. He’s already crawling. And then my daughter, she’s just a diva,” he said.

Carey and Cannon welcomed Moroccan Scott and Monroe in April.
