Jada Pinkett Smith: “I Never Stopped Being A Mother, And I Never Stopped Being An Artist”

Jada Pinkett Smith believes all her children with husband Will Smith were destined for Hollywood careers because of the way she had to raise them while working.

“I never stopped being a mother, and I never stopped being an artist. Which is probably why my kids are so creative,” says Pinkett of Willow and Jaden.

“When I’m with my kids I’m creating but I’m still a mom. I don’t wear two different hats. My kids have always been on the set with me. I was breastfeeding on set. None of my kids would take a bottle so they could not leave my side for a very long time.”

Will Smith & Family Catch A BasketBall Game

Will Smith his wife Jada took their children Willow and Jaden to watch the Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers game at Wachovia Center on Friday. The family posed for pictures and goofed around on the sidelines during the break. Willow showed off her newly green hair in a tie dye top while Jaden gave the camera a smoldering glare.

Willow and Jade Smith attended the BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The duo hugged each other while they posed for pictures on the red carpet. They duo were both vying for theYoungStars award, but ended up tying in the end.

“I wanna say thank you to BET for giving us this award and to all of our fans,” said Jaden.

Willow then thanked her parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, “I’d like to thank my mom and dad for letting us push harder and keeping us on track with our music and stuff,” she said.

Jaden Smith Already a Self-Made Millionaire

At only 12 years of age Jaden Smith is already a self-made millionaire. Of course it helps just a bit to be the son of stage parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Jaden pulled in a seven-figure salary for his two ‘Karate Kid’ films.

A copy of Smith’s contract for the films, which was signed in June 2009 when the actor was just 10 years old shows that he was paid in two installments for the two films, one for $900,000 and $100,000.

While those payments alone seem like a lot of money, it’s was just the beginning. Thanks to the film’s lucrative take at the box office — bringing in over $150 million — Smith received a $2 million bonus.

In addition to other contractual perks and royalties, it looks like Smith will be raking it from his ‘Karate Kid’ days for many years to come

Jada Pinkett Smith Lets Her Children Make Their Own Choices

Jada Pinkett Smith, 39, says she is not a controlling parent she likes to see her children with Will Smith, Justin and Jaden express their creativity. Jada says she is not afraid of her children growing up to fast and thinks that letting them make their own choices is a good thing.

She said, “I see my children as little people, not necessarily people to control. You’ve got to help them develop and become individuals. You have to find out who they are but enforce boundaries to keep them safe. “She’s simply being creative. I’m not worried about her growing up too soon.”

Jada has said she loves being a mother and find it easy to put her family before her job they are her priority!

Jaden Smith Is Now On Twitter

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s son Jaden Smith has now joined twitter. Apparently his pal Justin Bieber has been trying to convince him and he finally took the jump. He already has 204,288 followers and tweeted, “wow thanks for all of the followers you fans are awesome! “

Justin trying to get Jaden followers tweeted : “everyone follow @officialjaden and get him to 500,000 followers today!” The picture above was also tweeted on twitter by Justin Bieber with the comment, “My boy @officialjaden looks the same as he did when he was 6 hhaha (photo shot by me)”
