Victoria Secret Model Miranda Kerr and her one-year-old son Flynn were spotted touching down in Sydney, Australia on Sunday. The Australian native carried her adorable tot as they were greeted by Kerr’s mom and grandmother. The family laughed and giggled as they made their reunion.
Kerr is scheduled to attend the InStyle and Audi Women of Style Awards in Sydney on Tuesday. She will also shoot the new David Jones summer 2012 campaign while in the country.
Miranda Kerr is pictured on the latest cover of Australia’s Who magazine with her gorgeous 15 month old son Flynn Bloom. He’s not used to modeling assignments and cover shoots but he looks like a natural in front of the camera. Miranda and her husband Orlando Bloom‘s good genes are certainly on display.
The 28 year old model – who hails from Down Under but now lives in the US – and her toddler have been named in the magazine’s annual Most Beautiful People list. Who is the Aussie equivalent of America’s People magazine. Also getting a gong in 2012 – The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Aniston. David Beckham gets an honorable mention for being the Hottest Dad in the World. It’s a pity Orlando didn’t make the cut and make it a family affair.
Life has changed big time for Miranda since becoming a Mom at the start of last year. But it sounds like she has priorities in the right order. She says ‘I was working 18-hour days. Now that pace has slowed so I can spend the majority of my time with Flynn. I am first a wife and a mother, and then comes work.’
Miranda, Orlando and Flynn are spending the Easter weekend in Los Angeles. The Supermodel and actor were spotted working out at the gym yesterday. Miranda Kerr was spotted with her one-year-old son Flynn in NYC on Saturday afternoon. Kerr who looked stylish in red skinny jeans and a jean jacket over a striped shirt took Flynn to the city’s Children’s museum.
Earlier this week Miranda was named as the Global Ambassador for Earth Hour 2012. In the role, she is encouraging people to upload videos to sharing website YouTube explaining what they would do to help the environment. If 500 or more videos are uploaded to the site, Miranda had vowed to teach a free yoga class.
‘If we all adopt simple practices like recycling, switching to energy efficient lighting or paperless banking then we can make a difference together,” Kerr told.
Orlando Bloom was seen arriving at LAX Airport with his 1-year-old son Flynn to catch a flight out of town on Sunday. Bloom who carried Flynn in an organic Ergo carrier was not in the mood to have his son pictured and covered his face.
Flynn just might be the most well traveled celebrity baby. Bloom & his wife model Miranda Kerr have embraced their busy schedules and try to keep their family together as much as possible.
“He’s a baby. I hate to not see him walking and crawling and doing all those things and I just like hanging out with him. It’s the nature of our lives,” Bloom told in a radio interview.
‘Time sort of loses its perspective and where were you and what were you doing…. I don’t want that to be that case with Flynn. I really want to have that connection and feel that bond.’

’If you want to have a little indulgence every now and then, then that’s okay. Sometimes I’ll feel like some dark chocolate or sometimes I’ll feel like some French fries,” she told.

The mum of one explained to People it was a small party with ‘five little friends … about the same age . There were a lot of balloons. We had a balloon man come because [Flynn] likes balloons. That was a lot of fun.’ The adorable little boy also discovered what cake was all about ‘it was the first cake he had ever seen or tasted. It was a gluten-free cake and organic, of course, he put his face in the cake. It was a healthy kick-start to his first birthday.’
Flynn is growing up fast. The Victoria’s Secret model says he’s ‘doing something different’ every day. And it won’t be long til he’s following his famous Mom and Dad everywhere…Miranda says he’s ‘almost walking‘.
The new face of Qantas Airlines is full of praise for her actor husband. She says he’s a natural when it comes to fatherhood ‘He has really stepped up to the role and is very hands-on’ she says ‘It makes me proud that he is such a good dad.’
Only last month Orlando was saying the same thing about his gorgeous wife. He reckons Miranda is even more beautiful now that she’s a Mom and it’s been wonderful seeing her come into her own. Awww they make such a lovely family – and a very photogenic one too!
