Willow Shields has been cast to play Katniss’ younger sister Primrose Everdeeen in The Hunger Games. The book is the first book of the young adult novel series by fantasy writer Suzanne Collins. Willow is a relative unknownand she is from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Willow joins Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson in the project. The first “Hunger Games” movie is scheduled for release March, 2012.
